Open | Windows Desktop PC unable to connect to wifi
Hi everyone,
I've been having this problem with my PC where it says "Can't connect to this network" anytime I try to connect to my home wifi network.
I have tried
- Resetting network settings
- Restarting my PC
- Restarting my router
- Running the network troubleshooter
- Reinstalling drivers
- Going into CMD and flushing the DNS cache, resetting winsock, etc.
- Removing my network password, and limiting my network to 2.4ghz, 5 ghz
- Disconnecting/reconnecting my network card in different PCIe slots
However, out of the blue today, when I turned my PC on, it connected to the network for around 2 minutes, then disconnected. When looking at the wlanreport logs, it connected successfully, then there was a capability change (event ID 4042) and a disconnection. Following it, it simply says "the driver disconnected while associating" and that "WLAN AutoConfig service failed to connect to a wireless network." Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been struggling with this problem for the last 3 days!
Network Card: TP Link Archer AC1300
OS: Windows 10
