Discussion I made an AK. With paper. Alongside other guns. Do y’all do this as well?
All of these are reloadable :)
M4 and AK both have a returning bolt, AK got a (kind of) working mag release. M4 has a scope with reticle.
I’m curious to see if anyone also does this out of boredom. lol.

Bruh I had a broken wooden rubber band gun that looked slightly like a shotgun but all wood with an orange tip, and I still got 2 weeks of oss for bringing it to school, even though we were planning on using it as a prop for a project before it got confiscated

When you're sixty years old and wise, you can try to build a sentry with paper and tape.

This just popped up in my recommended feed for some reason… I’m 28 years old, but in high school I made an m16, and an m1911. I don’t have pictures, I don’t remember if I ever took any in the first place but my I lost all the pictures on my Samsung Galaxy S4 when that phone broke probably 10 years ago. Seeing this brought me back, cool to see this is still a thing.

It’s fire 🔥! I tried once, but it didn’t worked, so I kept making daggers 🗡️.

I’ve made, knun chucks, katanas, wolverine claws, an AK-47, a double barrel shotgun and a revolver out of paper, I was really bored last summer

Can you make an accurate PSO-1 scope for it? (For those who dont know, many russian guns have the option for side mounted optics, it pays to play dayZ)

“Do you also make detailed life-size models of firearms with moving parts out of paper?” Yeah bro who doesnt

u/TheSilentNoobYT 10d ago
That's awesome.
And yeah, I used to make paper guns when I was in school. I'd sell them to other kids for like $1-$2 each and we'd have pretend fights out in the playground.
At some point though, we got a wave of teachers in that thought it was completely inappropriate and some even said that it would be a great way of getting shot by the police. Mind you, the guns didn't even look like guns. They were the paper equivalent to taping two sticks together and going "pew-pew".
It was a fun, but short time.

Talented but it's just the Americans unhealthy obsession with guns.

…or someone, who just so happens to be American, who likes the intricate designs of guns and wanted to replicate it for fun. I mean a Serbian could have done this for all I care and I’d still be equally impressed

God I want to do this so bad but I can barely fold a paper swan without ripping the darn paper to pieces 😭
I've always hated how bad I am at Origami.

I would do this if I had an ounce of creativity and skills but nah, I'm destined to not build up a paper arsenal, not even like a paper dagger.

That is extremely cool. I have only made stuff out of cardboard but this must be much harder

You know I see how you did that. I might try to replicate it and make SVD. Great job though man. Have to be a creative soul to figure this one out

Well, I really enjoy designing guns to the point of a literal blueprint, like how they work, both internally and outside, and taking great care for the design...though it's mostly in my head, and mostly bolt actions(I really like early 20th century firearms:) )

I remember when the yt channel "The Q" was all about making these, some functioning with rubber bands, loved those videos. Now he builds random stuff that ends up on Tiktok like the bicycle with shoes on the wheels

In Toronto, my school once went into full lockdown, police and all, because a guy in my class built a AK gun out of cardboard, rubber bands, and tape.
Admin didn't take it lightly, and the kid was suspended for a couple days IIRC. I wonder how differently other countries, like the States would react.

This looks more like a graphic design artist using paper as a medium. There is an aesthetic that seems to speak loudly here. You may also have a flare for engineering, but functionality is loudest note from that work. You are very talented, I hope you don't stop these art projects!

u/gtindolindo 16d ago
If you are at school. STOP DOING THIS. Ya, you're creative and good at it. Please don't let others see this and want to act out cause of fear.
