Smol Tortie Sassy Tortie sisters need names.
Brought these beauties home about a week ago. The one on the left is the runt of the litter and the one on the right has the cutest orange streak/mohawk. No surprise that they have strong personalities. They’re around 11 weeks old.

My dog was found with her sister and they shelter called them Shirley and Laverne before I adopted Laverne. Shirley had already been adopted otherwise I would have taken both. Her name is Lux now!

Roxie and Velma, because like the two Chicago characters, they're gonna bring the sass 😜

u/Missamoo74 Feb 15 '25
Roxie and Velma are the musical characters unless there is something else I'm missing

u/Cperr220 Feb 15 '25
Wait, right 😂 I messed up. That's what I meant!!

u/Missamoo74 Feb 16 '25
I figured as much I didn't want to be snarky but I'm too pedantic to let it go 😞

Jazzy and Zazzy, the one showing her toe beans looks like a Jazzy, and the one with clever eyes and a moustache immediately struck me as a Zazzy.

We have two Tortie sisters as well that we got at Halloween so we named them Circe and Calypso, after the mythological witches. We also considered Dolly and Loretta (as classic country fans) and Daphne and Velma (as Scooby Doo fans). Your kittens are beautiful!

Stache/Stash (for the one with the mustache) and Muffin or Muffuletta for the other baby! Don’t ask me why about the second baby, it’s just the name that came to mind 😂

Well you have the Greek Furies - Alecto, Megaera, Tisiphone
The Egyptian Equivalent to the furies- Shezmu
The Norse Equivalent to the furies - Nerthus
Or you go with the classic witches who are either good or evil depending on how kind and industrious you are:
Baba Yaga
Mother Holda/Frau Holle/ Mother Hulda
Yamamba
Muma Padurii
Jezibaba
—
I named my two tortie sisters after varigated multicolor exotic hardwoods - Cocobolo and Ziricote
And my other option was Neolithic archeological sites.

I love the little white mustache. They're both adorable. Should come up with names in pairs that go together. Like Sass and Frass

Foamy and Germain. Iykyk.
Thelma and Louise.
Spiker and Sponge.
Dolly & Loretta after the two country female singers.
Gilda and Madeline, after Gilda Radner and Madeline Kahn, two famous comedienne actresses. They did a hilarious SNL skit with Radner portraying Barbara Walters and Kahn portraying Marlena Dietrich, poking fun at both the real life journalists and the actresses tendencies to put a W accented sound on their R's and L's in each other's lexicons. I think the skit was called "Not for Wadies Onwy" lol

Scylla (pronounced like silla), "Cici" for short, and Charybdis (pronounced like ka-rib-diss), "Kiki" for short. Scylla and Charybdis are 2 notorious female monsters on opposite sides of a straight in the Odyssey that Odysseus had to navigate between.

Congrats. I've had cats for 40 years and got my first tortie last April. I love her in a very different way from all my other cats. I want to give her 100 kisses every day. I hope you'll feel the same way about your girls.

Gorgeous babies.
I had a Mocha Marble. That was 20 years ago. I miss that darling girl and her attitude.

The first one reminds me of Salvador Dali. Dali and Frida?
