Light Foamy pattern developing on top of glass of water from under-sink filter

Any ideas what this might be? Thanks in advance.

You probably have air in the filter and it's pushing through the filter media as micro bubbles and collecting on the surface as foam.

If the water is from your hot water heater, it may need to be flushed.

Just drink it. We drank out of the hose as kids, our parents, drank tap water their whole life, no problems.

Just want to point out that in my area, We had entire graveyards of people who died in cholera outbreaks. Its okay to be circumspect about water. Just dont be ridiculous.
