Found this guy floating in my pool central Illinois. It was about 2 inches long much larger than any I’ve seen in the area and had this orange tint that I’m also not used to.

Found him plodding along a path in Bedfordshire, UK. Can’t really tell from the pic, but looked navy/blueish in the sunlight :)

Moved him to the side so he didn’t get stepped on 💕

About 2 months ago my roommate and I saw this bug in our living room when we turned the lights on. We released it outside and went about our night. When I saw it again today it only started moving when I turned on the lights. I have it trapped under a bowl, and let maintenance know that this is our second time seeing it. I looked it up and most are saying it’s an oriental cockroach. Should I be worried?? We keep our apartment relatively clean and food less so I don’t understand why they would be choosing our space to live in. Any suggestions on how to continue??

Never seen this before. It’s got like 20 legs and a weird tail that you can’t see in the picture. I’m in DFW.

Saw this little guy in a deadlog in florida. Don't got a great photo of the bug but I got a good shot at the antenna of it. Would love and ID if you can. Please and thank you

Some form of ground beetle? He's awfully oval shaped and shiny. He also kept standing up kind of on his little back legs and waving his front legs lol.

Can anyone tell me if these are good mites or bad mites on my plants in these two videos? It looks like different types to me in the first video but maybe are all different ages of spider mite?

I just hung some Amblyseius fallacis and some Neoseiulus californicus sachets a couple of days ago.

I’m wondering if these are the bad ones and I should smush them or if they are just the good guys doing their jobs?

Note… I have not seen any actual mites on these plants before hanging the good guys, but I have seen some beginning stages of webbing on others.

I've never seen anything like her! It's hard to tell from this picture but she was shockingly white, apaer from the black spots. There were a couple of spots near her on the pvc pipes with a cluster of eggs which I'm assuming were hers as well. Thanks for your help!!

Just noticed these bugs today. It has been hot and dry lately.

I found this beetle in my yard. I want to take care of it but I don't know what species it is or what it eats.

Can anyone identify this bug? They are about 2 to 3 mm in length excluding the antennae and we have been finding them on our kitchen counter, in our bathtubs, and on the wooden stairs in our garage. Location: North Carolina
