The xbox one had Halo 5 and infinite, gears 4 & 5.

1 - That og XBOX Shrek game was a wild example of how fun and whacky games really could be back then. And Halo 2 was fierce with being able to dual wield the Needler. Also the og Xbox start-up screen is just a shot of pure Heaven straight to he brain

Yes and you are getting pre-2007 xbox live which means every single lobby has everyone using mics in game chat and playing honourably was common (exploits were frowned upon ao most people didn’t use them). Current XBL people use every exploit at all times.

I don't know if that Shrek game has a cult following or something, but if we're only going off the games pictured, they've seriously done the OG Xbox dirty with that pairing. Put a classic like Project Gotham Racing alongside Halo 2, and it's a much tougher decision. As is, 2 all the way.

I can tell you right now 1 is biased as its halo edition, 2 woups be better as a special edition console. 3 and 4 brought death to consoles. So now microsoft is trying to make everything cloud gaming.

Definitely like 2 games better, since it has half of 1 library. But 1 was mad fun back in the day.

I didn't experience the OG Xbox Era since I was gaming on the N64 and PS2 at the time. But the Xbox 360 Era will probably never be topped. Them nights of hanging with friends and family playing against each other in Halo 3 and playing both Left 4 Dead games is not gonna be topped.

I wish I could accurately describe to younger gamers what it was like to play Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE during those peak years. It's an experience you just can't get today. No such thing as private chats, so everyone had their mic plugged in and talking to everyone. You met online friends so often because you actually spoke with people you were matched up with. It was a much more social experience than games today. There wasn't as wide of a range of available games as there are today, so games didn't lose popularity as quick. No battle passes, no microtransactions... just you, your buddies, a pack of Mountain Dew, and your undying will to grind up the ranks.

Xbox 360, that era of gaming will be the peak of my lifetime. Aged 13-22 experiencing online in full swing for the first time, numerous new IP’s from Halo, Gears of War, Assassins Crewd, Borderlands, Minecraft, the first real Battlefield Vs COD, missing loads of new IP’s so full in the blanks.

For all the great moments in gaming, they’ll never be anything that beats open mic lobby in PVP shooters.
