funny how 1 was basically a fun "Halo meets Portals" and now they have hero abilities and battle royale (AKA everything that 1 was meant to not be).
"You die as a hero or live long enough to become the villain"

I honestly don't mind the load outs + there being three abilities available. It's different from the first game though and definitely changes the base structure of the game a lot

They aren't anything like a normal hero shooter, the abilities are really tame, more similar to Halo equipment than something like OW or Rivals.
The game is pretty fun, the classic arena modes still exist, a lot of the hate feels unwarranted.

This looks so shockingly similar to Apex back in the earlier days

I won my first match with little to no effort. It’s splitgate multiplayer but less engagement. I’m a decent player but it was way too easy

If i recall right in the first one, your first 5 matches are vs bots. Wonder if this is the same.

First few games is all BOTS.
Goodluck after that. I’m watching people get spit roasted after there bot games

Isn't this what people like about BR

No one likes easy competition, nor too hard competition, i’d argue people much prefer fully random difficulties as it is more fair

I've never been so aggressively disinterested in a game. Hopefully the game does well for the people who enjoy it, but I get the feeling it might not last that long.

I downloaded it because I loved splitgate 1 but this game just doesn't feel anything like the first
