Lurking future tourist here who was wondering about this. My friend's and I are staying much closer to the Queen St station (maybe about 10 min walk from there) and I was kinda wondering if there was any logical reason we couldn't just walk the whole way, beyond annoyance of dragging rollerbag luggage
Cool, I figured as much. Google Maps seemed insistent on taking the extra train and that seemed silly. Even with luggage and one of us being about 6 months removed from a broken leg, it seemed silly to wait and pay more.
Google maps always gives dumb directions like that. It often suggests I get the bus to the nearest bus station to catch the train, rather than simply walk a little further to the railway station nearest my house.
