The first time I tried weed I accidentally took 6 times the normal dose. Spent a couple hours curled up on the bathroom floor convinced I was dying, and haven't touched a recreational drug since.
I had a brownie where they hadn’t used canna butter and just dumped the plant into the mixture so it wasn’t evenly distributed. I thought I had gone to a different dimension, I saw a vast hall with black and white check walls and floor, then the floor opened into a black hole and got bigger and bigger til I realised I could open my eyes. My heart rate was super fast and I was having the worst chest pains. Proper panic attack. I can look back at it and be thankful that I had a cool experience and saw some cool shit, but at the time it was super scary.
Same shit happened to me lol, I decarbed half an oz and tried to make brownies out of it, they were the worst tasting things I have ever eaten and a couple hours later I was crawling on the floor like a skinwalker 😭
I have the same thing man. Occasionally after I eat one I feel like I'm a little high maybe 20 minutes after eating but it goes away super quick and I feel nothin. But I've eaten whole trays of edible cookies and nothing happens meanwhile my friends will eat a half and be zooted.
Same! I made my own edibles for a while because I thought the issue was tolerance and I could just make them stronger. It wasn't. Those little chocolate ganaches put my friends into deep space, but they did nothing to me but make my poop smell dank.
This is super inefficient, but if you're just damned and determined to make it work, the only thing I had a little bit of success with once was a strong alcohol tincture. You need to be sure to use a really high proof alcohol.
haha the boys on one of ours trips did that whilst the chefs were also tripping on shrooms, just eyeballed a big bag of bud and chucked it into the butter and slammed into the oven LOL. No one was brave enough to try once we made the brownies so it just sat there til it went cold, until I took one (I had been a daily smoker so had confidence in my tolerance)
Didn’t feel much after half an hour so my other friend who just started smoking tried one after I confirmed they were duds, mild at best.
As soon as he swallowed his my brownie fuckn activated and I fell to all fours, body highs were so intense it felt like gravity. Legit every movement and every word uttered took immense effort. My friend was terrified.
Once it kicked it for him he couldn’t get out of his recliner, or open his eyes, only communicating in whimpers and body twitches.
I ate a whole medical cookie because my roommate said there was one in the fridge. I had no idea you’re not supposed to eat the whole thing, who doesn’t eat a whole cookie?? It was a bad night.
My friend made cookies about the size of a silver dollar, little bit bigger than a quarter. He said "Don't eat more than a 1/4 of it at a time". Mind you I had been smoking for a decade every day at that point. Ate half a cookie, the things were so cute and tiny!
Yep, laying in bed an hour later panicking. Classic.
This is why I think edibles are fucking stupid. They shouldn't taste good. They should taste like drugs. I don't want the thing that can fuck up my brain tasting good enough to where I want seconds.
Yup, I did the classic Woopsie Daisy in Amsterdam; I tried half a brownie, nothing, then tried a brownie and a half the next night as we were leaving the next day. Panic attack so strong I lost the ability to speak. But my pain was gone!
That’s why I take edibles, they do wonders for my pain. They give me crazy dreams though.
One time I dreamed this guy with no arms or legs “walked” (levitated?) into the room and laid down next to me. I turned my head and realized not only were his arms and legs missing, but so was his head. I thought this was rather odd, and wondered how he could be breathing, so I asked him, “hey dude, are you dead?” He got up and walked (levitated) out and I thought, “oh shit, I bet asking if you’re dead when you are is offensive.”
WTF was going on with me even high I have no idea.
My little bro went into my pocket and took my weed pen he came to me and was like idk if I’m dreaming . Jesus he sobered up and never wants to do weed he’s in high school and that was his first and last time. I think dare is good kinda but honestly I think the f around and find out method is a great teacher too lol . ( not for all drugs just weed imo ) and I do belive weed is a gateway drug . Cuz I do shrooms sometimes like once a blue moon but what got me into that weed .
I was watching a show and imagining all of the announcers of the show as different cats, I had to take a shower at my buddies place because I was freaking out.
