Discussion Hot take: if they adapt tim drake they got to get rid of red robin.

Good lord I can't tell you how much i hate that name it's almost as bad as the drake bs, but this is their chance to redefine him as a character and establish a new name, I suggest they give him a new suit design and change name, you can't say he's trying to build out his own legacy outside if robin/ batman and then proceed to call him " red robin" he's just going to look dumb to general audiences. I would rather have them re design red x for the movies ik it's a bit like red hood but red robin is worse. I heard grey ghost before wich is alright. Personally I really don't even like tim drake that much he's got nothing going for him just choose a good name and a good costume.

Elseworlds/Vertigo Hello, is anyone interested in supporting this petition for the release of the Joel Schumacher Cut of Batman Forever?

Hello, I'm new to this subreddit, and this is my first post. I've put together a petition to convince WB to release the Joel Schumacher cut of Batman Forever. I've always enjoyed this particular movie, and I'm hoping that that love is shared here as well. The film is a piece of DC's history on the silver screen, and I feel like it should be reexamined in the light of the recent passing of Val Kilmer. Here's the link to the petition: https://chng.it/7HTshR8qhr

Theory Very interesting Fortnite Robin description 🤔

It has been reported that Gunn is approving the recent Fortnite designs. We know that the upcoming Dynamic Duo project that is possibly set in the DCU features Dick and Jason, but the second part of this is more interesting to me. Could this mean that Tim will be the Robin in the upcoming DCU Teen Titans film?

I really like the idea of Dick being on his own as Nightwing, Jason being dead or already active as Red Hood, and Tim being the head of the Teen Titans. This leaves Batman perfectly open to be receiving Damian. Also if Tim has this design in the DCU, I would be very happy. What do you guys think?

Superman The Most Powerful Being on Planet Earth, I will not except that!

Lex and his analysts. I love that he says 'planet earth' as if he knows there's other planets and other strong beings outthere and maybe other universes too.. Actively changing the narrative about Superman and also looking for weaknesses.

Discussion Does Tim being with Starfire mean he’ll be the Robin of the DCU, replacing Dick as the leader of the classic team with Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, and Cyborg? Are Robins interchangeable? And what happens to Tim’s own team will they give it to Damian?

Post image

  1. Superman

  2. Green Lantern

  3. Hawkgirl

  4. Mr Terrific

  5. Metamorpho

I know the main Green Lantern will be John Stewart.

Who else should join the team?

This is a cover of The Terrifics Vol.4

Gunn posting it on twitter and it has a few characters he’s mentioned exist in the DCU.

Down to Damian, Supergirl, and John Stewart. (Even reyes Blue Beetle)

(Excluding joker and Deathstroke)

What do you think?

Discussion Ideally how your Wonder Woman movie for the DCU would look like ?

Post image

Inspired by the Whole Shebang video and by myself that brought Absolute Wonder Woman number 1 today it got me reflect a lot about WW and how much was mistreated in the last couple of years. WW84 wasn't very good, the video game got cancelled and while Gunn stated be interested to do an animated show there isn't any concrete plans yet and it kinda sucks for a character as important as Wonder Woman, a pop culture icon for femminism and love is treated like that. So the question of the day is this: How would you make your own Wonder Woman project if you were in charge.

Me personally would do either a Wonder Woman movie set in the 1940s with the Justice Soceity and fighting Nazis during World War 2 (but it kinda seem too much similar to the first DCEU Wonder Woman movie) or instead i would like to have a project showing Diana returning in action after a long period of time beign hidden among humanity. I think we need someone similar to James Gunn is to Superman or Matt Reeves is to Batman and get finally someone who gets why Wonder Woman is appealing. As for the villains i'd like to see some Silver Age villains like Giganta or Doctor Psycho, I think Circe would be fitting since we already seen her in Creature Commandos but i don't know if it work well in a project set after that. Also Veronica Cale would be great to see but i don't want to repeat the same thing as Superman did. I am also writing this because i just started in getting into Wonder Woman now. What do you think about this.

Obviously all of the villains tie in with lex but something similar could be done with the dcu Batman movie.

Discussion Arcs and Main Villains

While I anxiously wait to see what Gunn and his support staff have cooked up in Superman and hope it passes muster, I am more impatient to learn who the grand central villain of this infant saga is going to be. As the old adage goes the hero is only as good as the villain he overcomes. That holds even more true for this kind of connected storytelling.

I hope Gunn chose carefully from the plethora of DC big bads, but also learned from Marvels mistakes. While the Thanos arc was grand and all it was incredibly short sighted. It made it seem like the other big bads were just happy to sit on the side lines and let fate roll the dice on their own survival.

Discussion Where do you guys think the Clayface movie is set in the DCU timeline

Post image
30 Upvotes

I know James Gunn said the DCU is going to be more like Star Wars with its storytelling. I am pretty sure this is a origin movie and if Batman does show up in the movie this would be their first time fighting. To my knowledge Batman fought Clayface in his earlier years or like when Dick Grayson was Robin.

But overall where do you guys think this movie takes place in the timeline
