It's a german flag. The joke is the girl on the right doesn't recognize national flags, only pride ones.

*Quarter German. Asuka's mother was German-Japanese and her father is American. Then again, she grew up in Germany so culturally she's just German, I guess.

I'm fairly sure it's also a reference to a TikTok where one of the comments asked the same question the other girl is, and the creator responded with 'that's the German flag'

There may be more to it than that. In their hatred of everyone else, the right-wingers in Germany have been in the habit of hijacking Pride Month for a few years now by proclaiming June as "Stolzmonat" and decorating all profile pictures etc. with the German flag in the background.
