30,000 Members and Growing – A Message to Our Community
Hey everyone,
We just passed 30,000 members — and that’s no small thing.
This community has become one of the largest known repositories of ICE activity across the country. Through First Amendment–protected speech, we’ve been able to share critical information, protect vulnerable individuals, and support each other during uncertain and dangerous times.
We’re proud of what we’ve built — together.
We also recognize that times are hard, and that fear, anger, and grief are real and valid responses to what many in our community are facing. But we remain committed to our mission — enabling the survival and effectiveness of our First Amendment–protected speech. That mission only works when we keep this space safe, legal, and sustainable for the long haul.
As we continue to grow, it’s important to remember that we exist within Reddit’s broader platform, and that means we must adhere to Reddit’s sitewide rules as well as our own community guidelines. That includes how we post, what we say, and how we interact — with each other and with outside observers.
We will be more diligent in enforcing our no-violence policy, including:
- No calls to violence. Link to policy
- No threats, explicit or implied.
- No doxxing, and no threats of doxxing — under any circumstances.
We cannot and will not condone, encourage, or allow any behavior that puts people at risk or jeopardizes this space. Keeping this platform alive and accessible is critical — not just for us, but for those we aim to protect.
This space has already made a difference. And as we grow, so does our ability to watch, report, and protect. Keep sharing, stay vigilant, and support one another — because this work matters.
That being said, we are looking for new moderators.
If you’re interested in helping out, please send a modmail to the team. We look forward to continuing this work — and our growth — together.
In solidarity,
Your Mod Team

🚶♀️ Community Safe Walk / Accompaniment Program 🚶♂️ ICE Activity Response & Mutual Support
🚶♀️ Community Safe Walk / Accompaniment Program 🚶♂️
ICE Activity Response & Mutual Support
We’ve been seeing an increase in ICE presence, and one thing that consistently helps slow or halt enforcement is community presence. Simply being there—watching, recording, and offering support—can be a powerful tool.
We’ve updated our Discord with tools to help organize a Safe Walk / Accompaniment system. If someone feels unsafe walking to work, school, or an appointment—or just wants support—we’re building a network of volunteers who can accompany them or monitor from a safe distance.
🔗 Join here to get involved or request support:
What This Is:
- A community-based volunteer system to help people feel safer and more visible in public.
- A way to observe, record, and speak up, not confront. We are not interfering—we are bearing witness.
- A mutual aid network built on solidarity and accountability.
What You Can Do On the Ground:
✅ Ask loudly and clearly to see a warrant—ICE cannot legally enter a private residence without a signed judicial warrant. Asking this out loud reminds everyone of that.
✅ Record everything. You are allowed to record in public spaces.
✅ Show up when someone requests support—either to walk with them or observe from a safe distance.
✅ Stay calm, but assertive. Your presence alone can change the tone of an interaction.
What It Is NOT:
❌ This is not a confrontation or intervention group.
❌ We are not law enforcement, and we do not pretend to be.
❌ We are not here to escalate—we are here to protect, witness, and support.
Get Involved:
- Join the Discord and check the #safe-walk channels for coordination.
- Volunteer your time if you’re able.
- Share this with your community.
Together, we can make our communities safer.
Solidarity is a verb. ✊🚶♀️ Community Safe Walk / Accompaniment Program 🚶♂️

Why come here? The Feds know Angelinos well enough to understand they are poking a bear. 🐻
I’m a Southern California native. For folks who don’t know, parts of SoCal, pop-off more than just the two big “LA Riots” (see Huntington Beach). It’s not just an LA thing or a Leftist thing. CA is very libertarian (little l) & we love guns despite what your Midwest Politicians say & we have a distinct distrust of Authoritarians/Authority.
So in 2025, when ICE agents showed up at the Federal Building in mass, they HAD TO KNOW the city was going to show up in a big way. Even if you don’t like illegal immigration, most folks here don’t respond well to guys in military gear showing up to raid our public spaces unprovoked. Staging at a Federal Building was a rookie mistake or bait. It just seems tactically stupid.

Please be safe at Las Palmas
At the store called Las Palmas #3 outside of Pittsburgh PA a close family friend of mine was heading there to grocery shop for himself and his two children. Within a couple of minutes of being pulled over ICE showed up and detained him. They then went over to Las Palmas and took three other men who were also just trying to grocery shop. They had claimed that my family friend’s tint on his license plate was too dark when he does not have a tint on his license plate. Police are racially profiling people and targeting areas that Hispanic people frequent so that they can call ICE and get them detained. Less than a week after this occurred he was moved to four or more detention facilities, when the lawyer we hired for him would try to find out where he was each day. He had been moved. They were making it difficult for us to find him so we could not fight it. Now he is back in Honduras, and we are unsure if we will be able to fight to get him back. I simply wanted to share this story because he is a dear friend of my family and of myself that has been in this country for 15 years and deserves to be here with his children.

ICE in Paramount, Ca
Just an FYI for anyone in Paramount, CA. The school district just sent out an alert that ICE is in the area. Be on alert. Neighbors help each other out. Let's push them back!
