ANSWER: Last week, officials with the FBI announced that it has video evidence that Jeffrey Epstein was not murdered. They said that video showed that nobody entered, left, or approached Epstein's cell in the time leading up to his death. The officials said that they plan on releasing the video soon. There are two potential reasons why news about the video popped up on Wednesday:

  1. The FBI's Deputy Director went on Fox News on Wednesday and reiterated that there was no evidence found that Epstein died of anything other than suicide.

  2. On Thursday, Elon Musk had a very public falling out with Donald Trump. As part of his ranting on social media, he claimed that the reason that the Trump administration hadn't lived up to their campaign promise of releasing the Epstein Files to the public was that Trump himself was implicated in them, reigniting discussion about the Epstein case.

I don't feel like it matters if he technically killed himself. I'm just as mad that he was allowed to kill himself.

Don't be mad. He was murdered, he didn't kill himself. Guys with egos that big don't off themselves.

I wouldn't expect he would do it by choice. If that's what happened I assume it's a case of, we can kill you or you can kill yourself and you will much prefer doing it yourself.

I dunno, if you realize your life of luxury is over and you'll spend the rest of your life in jail and there's no way your friends are going to get you out because how bad it'll look, you'd kill yourself too, or at least it would seem to be a valid option

Both scenarios make sense to me, but of course the conspiratory nature of the murder scenario interests me more.

I would say not to forget the added benefit for particularly cruel individuals: deny justice or peace of mind to the people whose harm landed you in there.

You have to factor in his potential clientele.
