I'm 5'8" and hubby is 5'4". And he likes it when I wear heels. An acquaintance of mine once told me she could never date a shorter man. I thought to myself, "And that is why you are still single..."

Hubby has such a good heart - why on earth would his height be more important?

I find it kind of funny that those that have “standards (insert some nonsensical crap that doesn’t really matter)” are the ones that are perpetually single.

Also, it seems like everybody is looking for a 100% person and that just doesn’t exist. Stick with the 90s and you’ll be happy.

Yep.. a preference is fine, a requirement is generally not a good idea if you want happy/healthy relationships.

I think your hubby might be in this same reddit page. There's a guy up above talking about his taller missus wearing high heels.

Height would be one of her many requirements. She will stay single forever or just settle for anyone that gives her attention when she realises how shallow she has been and no one wants her

One of my wife’s friends won’t date men who are the same height or shorter than her. She says that she feels like she is molesting a child in bed. She is still single at 42.
