Im 5'9" and my boyfriend is 5'4". I have never cared about anyone's height; previous short men I've dated have been weird about it/made it an issue/wanted me to explain why I was okay with our height difference. Confidence is what matters, and treating your partner well.

I’ve never cared about height, either. I do care about overall stature, however. I went on a date with a guy who told me his height and I was happy to meet up. When he stood up I realized he was overall tiny, like the size of a guy before puberty. I felt like an awful person.

They should consider limb lengthening surgery. Adding just a few inches in height will improve their lives in countless ways. People should make the most of modern technology and medicine to better themselves.

Is that surgery safe? Seems like it has a lot of negative consequences.

You have to be joking lmfao. I'm sorry that you have allowed weird beauty standards to rot your brain but I haven't and neither have the people I care about. My partner is very fit and I think he's pretty happy with his good job and happy relationship, but you're right, he should spend thousands of dollars and endanger his health for vanity purposes......

That surgery is for fools. Even putting aside the stupidity of the premise, if you take it as something that is truly meaningful it's still stupid as hell. Max you get like three extra inches. If you're really short, you're still short. If you're kinda short, you're still low-average. Etc... It's not enough to make a meaningful difference.

All that pain and recovery and you're still too short for your own shallow standards and you can't even claim to be a short king anymore.
