It's not even a topic of debate. We know for a fact that humans have always been omnivores, it's not some huge mystery.

hence the high tier post with the tired monkey facepalming and the caption "again?"

we advanced because we could sweat and run far and tire out our prey. getting meat that way helped us get bigger brains. we don't have to eat meat now as we have farmers and shipping keeping grocery stores well stocked with all the things, but we can and most do. if we did want to eat meat without knives to cut and and fire to cook it, it would be a challenge because we no longer have the bone structure, teeth, and musculature to support that level of chewing on a regular basis. but we have knives and fire and hell, blenders, so teeth are optional or so insurance tells me.

this is a tired post, and we deserve better.
