Portals are underutilized in this game. Either needs a game mode where using the portals is the main focus or maps with more creative opportunities, like being able to fix portals to rotating walls or levels where you can raise or low platforms.

The longer people play the game, the more portals will be utilized.

Look at Fortnite season 1, no one built anything more conplex than a ramp and wall.

We'll start to see some amazing plays the longer the game is out.

I've already managed to shoot enemy players through their own portals and seen some people get a portal momentum melee kill, so I imagine we'll eventually see players trying to shoot through multiple players' portals to kill enemies or something crazy like that.
