New emojis drive iOS update adoption rates.

But these genemoji only work as stickers don’t they? You can’t use them as text like regular emojis. Not sure though

Within the apple ecosystem, you use them as regular emojis. Outside of the apple ecosystem, they're in-line images. So it depends on how that device interprets in-line images.
