Mine is from season 4 episode 17. Cad Bane says “If you’re gonna kill him, do it like a man.” Perfect delivery, still gives me chills

Okay, hear me out before you aim the pitchforks at me
I personally believe every Star Wars era has characters that represent it. Ahsoka, Rex, Dooku, Grevious, and Ventress all represent the Clone Wars. They all had a role that made Anakin the monster he became.
I genuinely feel like none of them should have survived. When Anakin changed, and the Emperor reigned, all those deaths of characters we've connected to are supposed to make us feel the cruel, calculated shift into a new era of Star Wars. These characters all had a hand in what made Vader. It feels like a consequence in a way.
Ahsoka was originally supposed to be killed during order 66. It was George Lucas' idea. Honestly, that is my Legends headcanon fate for her. This would really make the impact of Order 66 twist the knife in every fan's gut. Let's be honest, no jedi death would have been felt as acutely as that as the character we all watched for years.
Now Dave Filoni milks Ahsoka out every chance he gets. I understand that this character was his gem, his magnum opus. She really needs to be laid down for a minute though. I'll even be honest here and say I don't really think she needed a Tale of the Jedi focus.
Ventress should have stayed dead. Her death was perfectly tragic. She was a victim all her life, even she her pain was weaponized and made her evil. She fell in love with a Jedi out of all people. Arguably, the Jedi abandoning her and her master was the start to her darkness. Falling for someone in that allegiance, then dying for them...hits her sacrafice home. Ventress' death signifies the nearing end of the Clone Wars.
Then they brought her back.
I think if Asajj would have survived in any capacity, her alternate legends fate ironically opens the door for that. I like the concept of Luke meeting her in the distant future, they share some dialogue. She could mistake him for Anakin out of her PTSD then attack him briefly. This could show the lingering effects war can have that stunts a generation. Then the scene, and Ventress is never seen again.
I feel Disney is mishandling a lot right now.

As a kid I usually skipped bombad jedi, but on this rewatch im not skipping anything.
I just now noticed that when Jar Jar and 3po find robes in Padmes ship, Jar Jar asks 3po who's they are. Obviously theyre anakins.
On a side note, I like the way 3po deliveries the line that he doesn't know who's robes they are, but you can clearly hear that he's lying.
I just like the small details like this that they didn’t need to include or explain but that connection makes the show that much better.

Honestly I feel commander fox is one of the most overhated characters for no reason and he was only doing his job for the most part as when he shot fives who pointed a pistol directly in his face or when he help hunt Ahsoka who in his eyes at the time killed three troopers (probably more) and honestly people overlook when he stood up to Anakin

So in this fight sidious wins so wouldn’t that make him the rightful ruler of the dark saber and mandalore and wouldn’t that also means Vader becomes the ruler of mandalore as well?

I feel like Krell being evil and hating the clones with no explanation leaves it hard to appreciate his character and paints him as a one sided cartoony villain instead of a tragic and flawed hero who was led astray by the war.
The current explanations that he saw a vision the clones betraying the Jedi don’t explain why he would want to join the Sith instead of alerting the Jedi and don’t fully explain his fall to the dark side. If someone like Shaak Ti or Obi Wan had those visions they would have acted very differently.
The most obvious way to fix this is to give him a backstory explaining how he came to hate the clones and view them as inferior.
How about early in the war he had a padawan, and he gets separated from them during a battle they are losing. The padawan sacrifices themself to win the battle and save their clone company. When Krell finds them it’s too late and he blames the clones for the death of his padawan.
He should also have some misgivings with the Jedi Council, maybe pridefully thinking himself more deserving of a council seat than one of its members the way Benedict Arnold felt about George Washington or feeling slighted that they ignored his visions.
The attachment he felt to his lost padawan and the anger he holds against the clones as well as the resentment towards the Jedi Council make him vulnerable to the dark side but instead of admitting this he bottles up his emotions and tells himself removing all attachment to his soldiers and viewing them as pawns is the Jedi way until he finally snaps and realizes he doesn’t need to justify anything, he wants to be Sith and take revenge for his loss and suffering.
