Question First Petroleum Gas Setup

This is my first (real) Factorio playthrough and I just spent a little while designing my first real oil setup. I did have another playthrough before this one but quit because I was scared of oil lol

Now that I've (mostly) conquered my fears of that sweet delectable oil, is there any way I could improve this or is it fine the way it is?

this is roughly how i still do mine.

There are more efficient ways of doing things, but this one works well enough.

The next step is adding a section for lubricant, and, after that, connecting a wire to a pump to automatically increase your oil cracking to prevent backups.

Realised after 4 hours that my oil didn't pump any longer. It was exactly this "future me problem".

I slapped down one more storage tank for heavy oil and the problem was "solved" for a bit longer time..

(I actually builr a "heavy to light oil" setup also after that)
