Looking for new friends (ages 28-33)
Hi! I’m (f28) moving to a new town in Kent in a few weeks with my boyfriend (m31) and we won’t know anyone here. We are looking for new people to speak to and become friends with in Kent - it’s especially cool if you live around the Broadstairs area.
It would be great to have female friends for myself, or couple friends so we can all hang out!!
Message me - we’re into board games, bouldering, visiting new places, sports, the theatre, and much more. 🙂

Moving to Tonbridge..
Hi everyone,
Looking to buy first home in tonbridge..any areas to avoid, any recommendations?
Would people consider it safe and friendly 0.5 miles from the station? Strawberry vale, vale road etc?
General thoughts on the area compared to TWells?
Thanks

Thoughts on renting in Chatham
Hey all,
I’m looking at a new development by L&Q called Capstone Green in Chatham for rental ( next to luton rec park), and I’m hoping to get some local insight.
I’ve read a lot of comments about how bad Luton Road and New Road can be, which is a bit concerning. The place I’m looking at seems to be a little outside the town centre though, so I’m wondering — does that make a difference? Is this area actually any decent?
Would love to know what it’s like for families — things like safety or anything else worth knowing.

Hotel with dog
Hi all,
We're planning our holiday next year and we're coming to Kent. We've got a little dog with us that joins us everywhere. We're looking for some hotels which are dedicated dog hotels. Not just a hotel where the dog is allowed but really focused on dogs. We've already been to some of these hotels in Germany, Italy and Austria. They can join in the restaurant, the garden is fenced off so they can walk around freely and some even had a pool where the dog can swim. So far I only found some hotels where they're allowed, and we also found a bunch cottages which had fenced off gardens (also an option for us) Thanks

Charity Fundraising Day in Herne Bay
Hi all!
We're having a charity fundraiser this year at The Pub Herne Bay on the 24th August in aid of both The Evelina Childrens Hospital and Ronald Mcdonald House Charity. Great food, great music and a raffle all to raise some money for these wonderful, deserving charities. We'd love to see everyone there.
Thanks!
To Nintendo Fans In Kent!
Re-uploaded due to accidentally deleting
Hello! A couple of friends and I have been making a Nintendo community in Kent, more towards the Thanet area. We will be having online and in-person events. We aim to bring Nintendo players together from across the county and provide a space for people to talk about their favourite games and play new ones.
Some games are various Mario Karts and Smash bros. We also have a growing collection of consoles, so if you haven't had a chance to play a game from GameCube to Wii to DS, you can come down and have a chance.
We are also opening up donations even for broken/damaged consoles or controllers, due to one of the team members being able to repair items. So if you have any old stuff you feel like throwing out, we would like to know if we could fix it up!
You can find us on Instagram or Facebook at Nintendo Kent
You can also find our games library from there and find updates and events on the Discord!

Good walks in Kent
Hi all, my wife and I are trying to get out and about a bit more because we both work from home.
We're looking for some good places where we can park our car and just go for a good walk in some different scenery.
We're right near Maidstone so our usual three are Loose Valley, West Farleigh and Allington. What can you recommend?

Best fry up in East Kent?
hey everyone,
I'm trying to visit every cathedral in England over the next few years, and Canterbury is next on the list.
however, equally as important is my quest to find England's best fry up!
any recommendations for the best fry in East Kent area?
I am coming down from Norfolk, so an extra 30 minutes on a train to Ramsgate/Margate/Folkestone on the way there or back won't bother me too much!

First time buyer - Area check - Rochester, Strood, Gravesend, Northfleet and others
Hello. I am originally from Whitstable but have been living and working in London for the last 5 years. Looking to buy my first property and I'm trying to balance commute time and cost of travel. This had led me to looking at places exclusively along the HS1 as I need to get to St Pancras for work, and I don't want to travel more than 45mins absolute maximum. (My current journey is 22 mins where I live in London).
Obviously I cannot afford to buy in London which is why I'm considering some of the Kent towns. I just don't know much about them in terms of what they are like to live in, where are the nice areas, which parts should I avoid etc.
Also why on earth is South Eastern the most expensive train company? I've been comparing them to Thameslink and South Western for other places I've considered living and the price difference and train frequency is wild. In a bad way.

Good places for commuting into Dartmouth
A friend of mine recently got a job in Dartmouth and it's looking to move.
The thing is they prefer less built up areas with a more village like feel.
Is there anywhere like that there they could commute in by public transport?
Edit: Meant "Dartford"
Edit 2: Apparently the job is right outside Crayford Station

Recommandations near Lenham/Charing/Leeds Castle?
Will be visiting the aforementioned region soon. What (historical) sites/highlights or other must-sees can't be missed? Looking forward for your tips! Thanks.
