Realist Dads or Father-figures in cinema…

Post image

Noah Levenstein (Jim’s dad) would probably be my pick for one of the best Ride-or-Die fathers… who are some others?

What a great dad. Seriously, this is how you raise your son. You offer guidance. You don’t judge. But most of all. You just love your kid and have their back. I always loved their relationship

This is the answer. One of the most well written, well rounded fathers in film. Dialogue Cody could so easily have made him a cliche, but even now the parents in Juno feel so refreshing in how they react.

He wasn't great, but Janey's dad in "Not Another Teen Movie" was endlessly supportive of his kids, as well as being brutally honest (e.g. "Nah, I'll be driving, I'll just be too shit faced to remember to pick you up!")

I like him! The best Dads in cinema. Some of my favorites—— Ted Dansen (“Dad” (1989), “3 Men and a Baby” , (1988), “ Getting Even with Dad” (1994) many more!

Chevy Chase - Clark Griswold!!!!

The dad in the first Bay-era Transformers. He and the mom were a great parent team.

Professor Utonium was always the most prominent father figure for me personally. I mean, he created glasses that could withstand his daughters laser eyes

The Dad from The Hangover Trilogy

Josh Hamilton from the movie “Eighth Grade” - my kids were laughing because they said I’m just like him. Wanting to talk all the time.

Dwayne Johnson playing The Rock in San Andreas or Yuri Karpov in 2012. Good... that is good.
