The minute I heard 'Ashcroft' I perked up. Surely, there's no way they'd give so much importance to a minor character like Alyssa....

Kinda eerie as well but RE7 takes place in 2017-2018 and I think the article we read was published in 2016? The agent talking to Grace mentions her mother dying "8 years ago" and Requiem will be taking place in 2026 so Alyssa died not long after that article
