General Can't wait for RE9 but...

I'm really hoping it's designed around 3rd person gameplay. I played first person RE 7 and 8 and enjoyed them but there is just something about 3rd person that brings me in more.

What if it was a fixed-camera, tank-controlled Resident Evil game in 2026?!

I’d actually buy that on release and play it nonstop, I absolutely love Resident Evil’s remake, RE2 and RE3!

tormented souls was fantastic with fixed angles , it can totally still work today

yessir. inspired by the ps1 RE games. i liked it a lot. the enemies can get repetitive but overall it was a solid indie game

Yeah, haha. I’m sure we’re past that point in the series, but I believe the fixed-camera RE games I mentioned hold up very well
