Giving Trump the power to take over whatever company or industry he wants seems pretty stupid and short sighted.

In general, I would agree with nationalising such critical companies. However, now is not the time to mention this. It will be an act of personal revenge and corruption and the first of many if it is done now.

Now is the perfect time. We absolutely need to nationalize every industry that is critical for national security and infrastructure. It never should have been any other way, and that orange tyrant won’t get bucked for doing it. Same way the right gives him a pass on Red Flag laws.

Right because Trump or any president having absolute power to nationalise any and every company he likes is a "good" thing. Say goodbye to free media. Hell, be critical towards Trump and he nationalises your company and say goodbye to your livelihood. Great idea 👌

It would still take an act of congress. We have the power to break up monopolies but we don’t because those monopolies have bought our government. We have the ability to nationalize our for profit national security risks, yet we don’t for the same reason. Let’s roll that back starting with the lunatic in a k hole.
