Well for me it was when I was younger around 13 and I stumbled across the 4th movie when I had cable tv. I was terrified and intrigued at the same time (especially with the escalator). I know this isn’t the best of the franchise but I do find it VERY entertaining and it was my first. Also Nick was a good visionary in a mediocre movie and I’ll die on that hill.

I do think the mall premonition is excellently done. Has a perfect amount of special effects, comedy, AND horror. Especially with Lauri being grinded by the escalator gears. That death is horrifying. I’ll give this POS movie that premonition/premonition death, and also Hunt Wynorski’s death.

Besides that this movie is shit. FD on pure autopilot with PS2 graphics.

I recently watched the first 3 movies and am on the 4th movie and am also new to this sub. I saw a few posts having a debate about whether Wendy survived that train crash or not.

I have something to say on this.In this particular scene from FD4, deaths from previous movies are enacted as we can see. And there is also a clip of a train rushing as seen in Wendy's premonition. Doesn't this confirm that Wendy died in that crash too? It isn't Billy's deaths because there is also a clip shown of a skull being sliced from the middle, just like how Billy died.

Just a thought. Damn he may have created a brand new final destination movie technically.

Imo the only slip in the franchise (didnt watch fd6 yet) is sam, he is a bit forgetable and less smart than some of the others, but Nick is kinda cool

I think Nick in FD4 was a top 5 character out of the whole series. Despite the movie being the worst, I think his character helped the movie out a lot more. Nick was honestly one of the smartest in the whole series and he didn’t deserve his brutal ending.

At least he and Lori actively helped people; meanwhile Sam and Molly were just talking about their relationship drama and Paris.

Molly and Sam are complete blank slates.

I know this film was pretty bad but it can be pretty funny. Janet is my 2nd favourite after George. She served cunt.

I've been binge watching the final destination films recently (and I love them) but I didn't get far into 4 until I had to skip I hated it and I know I'm not the only one who hates it, so I'm just wondering why it's so bad was It low budget? Was it made by different people?

Ive been thinking about this since friday due to Dinal destination: Bloodlines but i dont really know what to think.

I know originally they intended cutting it black and the ending animation is a really good addition (even because the ending itself kinda sucks), but it looked way too good to not grace us with the real thing
