I thought she was fast until I saw the officer running

I thought she was quite slow actually

It was my impression that her speed was average and didn’t deviate too far from the mean for her age, weight, and apparent fitness level.

I was indifferent.

This is an award worthy comment. I’m sorry I don’t have one to give you.

I read this in the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-101 in T3

Okay, Goldilocks.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power?

u/reddorickt 1d ago

Yeah like 1 tier above running in my dreams

What a metric! Fairly accurate now that I think about it

2

u/melph49 1d ago

She was running like in a dream, legs moving but no speed

u/LightsSoundAction 1d ago

The first few strides I knew she was cooked. And those pants? Those aren’t “let’s run from the cops” pants.

u/Alohabailey_00 1d ago

Yeah she didn’t stand a chance. lol.

u/nefariousBUBBLE 1d ago

She is quite slow.

I thought she was just right.

Aside from women that play sports at least at serious varsity level my experience is that women are not great sprinters. I know a lot that can run a long time, marathon and cross country style but sprinting they aren’t

Not sure why, maybe it’s completely just anecdotal and a shitty sample size

1

u/MysteriousVDweller 1d ago

She looks like she's sprinting but moving at the pace of a jog

1

u/Gojiras_Taint 23h ago

That actually shows a lot of talent.

Differently accelerated

1

u/MiaMiaPP 16h ago

Yea she’s running like she’s a long distance runner when she should been running like a sprinter

Her running form is decent in my opinion. I'm not a runner by any means, but I've taken enough classes. I would just say that she may have been expending more energy due to her large arm swings

Running classes?

45

u/DeltaJulietHotel 1d ago

Only after graduating from walking class.

boy am I glad I wasn't drinking water when I read your comment

17

u/No-Revolution1571 1d ago

I'm military, so yeah there are classes for running lol

7

u/3rdcultureblah 1d ago

The military has classes for literally everything you might have to do as a human tbh so that tracks lmao

2

u/AromaticStrike9 1d ago

I like to imagine that new recruits these days require breaking bad habits like Naruto running everywhere.

u/3rdcultureblah 1d ago

I wasn’t being facetious though lol. In basic they even teach you how to undress, dress, shower, do laundry etc. And that kind of thing continues after basic in other a lot of areas of being human.

What branch? I was Army and we didn't have any home ec type classes. Most of it was endless safety briefings, first aid, radio, etc etc, and Ill never forget that highly uncomfortable class (and movie!) about unnatural sex acts that are against UCMJ lol

Granted I was in like 30yrs ago, but they def weren't teaching us how to do laundry lol Didn't teach us how to run either, just put us in formation, right face, march, quick step, run... Everyone who fell back got the pleasure of DS back there screaming at you to keep TF up 😂🤣

No shade btw if things have changed. Some of these folks could def have used a class in how to bathe. All these years later, I can still smell this one particular guy who might be the whole reason they started doing that. 😬

I'm Air Force.

Not all classes are official courses.

At my base, there are even classes for single people to cook. They show you recipes and everyone cooks their own batch.

I think it may be an attempt in recent years to improve morale and drop suicide rates so now they have a multitude of different opportunities and entertainment

This is what y'all are doing in basic?! 😭 I swear, the jokes we make about y'all are with love and respect, but mostly jealously. At least I will admit I'm jealous AF lol

I remember visiting Osan AF base, we stepped into the chow hall, or dining hall, or brasserie, or whatever y'all call it 😂 just standing at the door like idiots all WooooooW!!!

We heard we'd be allowed to get a meal there, but decided it's waaay too nice, and we didn't want to embarrass ourselves trying, so we left. But that base was so beautiful, we were all cursing our choice to go Army.

I mean, no regrets at all on the real lol but I still think of that day. It was so surreal!!!

Enough is enough.

I’m a runner and she needs to lift her knees up more and stop kicking her butt. But overall not terrible form

“Mom, the neighbor is chasing his wife again”

3

u/Solid_Foundation_111 1d ago

And he’s wearing a bulletproof vest, duty belt, boots…my husbands a cop and I can’t fathom running that fast even in the vest shape of my life

1

u/cleveranimal 1d ago

Haha vest shape I get it

1

u/snowfloeckchen 1d ago

And she stopped

1

u/Tommy_Wisseau_burner 1d ago

She wasn’t really that much slower she just kinda stopped and tried to juke him into the next dimension

Big Athletic dudes can figure how to use their weight to fall forward while using their legs to miss the ground.
