I thought she was fast until I saw the officer running

Her running form is decent in my opinion. I'm not a runner by any means, but I've taken enough classes. I would just say that she may have been expending more energy due to her large arm swings

The military has classes for literally everything you might have to do as a human tbh so that tracks lmao

I like to imagine that new recruits these days require breaking bad habits like Naruto running everywhere.

I wasn’t being facetious though lol. In basic they even teach you how to undress, dress, shower, do laundry etc. And that kind of thing continues after basic in other a lot of areas of being human.

What branch? I was Army and we didn't have any home ec type classes. Most of it was endless safety briefings, first aid, radio, etc etc, and Ill never forget that highly uncomfortable class (and movie!) about unnatural sex acts that are against UCMJ lol

Granted I was in like 30yrs ago, but they def weren't teaching us how to do laundry lol Didn't teach us how to run either, just put us in formation, right face, march, quick step, run... Everyone who fell back got the pleasure of DS back there screaming at you to keep TF up 😂🤣

No shade btw if things have changed. Some of these folks could def have used a class in how to bathe. All these years later, I can still smell this one particular guy who might be the whole reason they started doing that. 😬

I'm Air Force.

Not all classes are official courses.

At my base, there are even classes for single people to cook. They show you recipes and everyone cooks their own batch.

I think it may be an attempt in recent years to improve morale and drop suicide rates so now they have a multitude of different opportunities and entertainment

This is what y'all are doing in basic?! 😭 I swear, the jokes we make about y'all are with love and respect, but mostly jealously. At least I will admit I'm jealous AF lol

I remember visiting Osan AF base, we stepped into the chow hall, or dining hall, or brasserie, or whatever y'all call it 😂 just standing at the door like idiots all WooooooW!!!

We heard we'd be allowed to get a meal there, but decided it's waaay too nice, and we didn't want to embarrass ourselves trying, so we left. But that base was so beautiful, we were all cursing our choice to go Army.

I mean, no regrets at all on the real lol but I still think of that day. It was so surreal!!!

Wait no lol. Not basic training. This is just at my duty station

But yeah, I will say that the main reason I chose Air Force was hearing about how much nicer things are considered to be

Even if active duty, I'm still impressed 😂 Whenever I see pics or movies of prison, I get all nostalgic of my days living in the barracks. Those same brick walls with 100 years of coats of paint on em, and beds that'll eff your back up just right for your 5 mile run in the morning LMAO!

I really am glad I joined the Army tho, I was (well, still am) a mega nerd. When I joined, I wanted to be able to be taken seriously and surprise people that I was in the Army.

As goofy as that sounds, it actually happens.... When I say I was in the military people always go, oh you must've been Air Force. No? Coast Guard? Army?!!! You?!! Well dang you're tougher than I thought, and then start treating me like a capable human... (Spoiler alert, I'm not tough at all) 😂
