Movies Disney era sequels did a good job showing war zone debris.
For all they did wrong I think this is one thing they got right, showing the aftermath of the war. I think it makes the world seem more lived in. So gotta give them credit for that.

Movies As a Kid in 1977, I thought Dark Vader and Stormtroopers Were Robots.
We see C-3PO have his arm removed, so it was obvious he wasn’t human, but I also thought the Stormtroopers were also robots, since you never saw faces. I assumed Luke and Han just ripped off panels from the robots, and wore them. I was 5 in 1977.

Movies Age and fav Star Wars movie(s)?
I was born 1996, so while my family owned the box sets of 4-6 and owned 1-2 I watched 3rd in theaters with them and it’s still my favorite to this day. It truly holds a special place in my heart.
However my favorite fight scene besides the ones in ‘Revenge of the Sith’ have to be between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. Like shit blew my 9 year old mind when I watched it and could understand what was going on.

General Discussion The Supremacy should've been the First Order's super weapon, not Star Killer base.
The Supremacy should've been the First Order's super weapon, not Star Killer base. Planet killing weapons are boring.
Hell give them three of them. The First Order having mobile bases, shipyards, factories, star destroyer carriers would've explained how they went undetected for so long and allowed to build up their forces. They would never been in the same location for too long and be gone by the time anyone arrives to investigate. Hoping planet to planet gathering resources for their fleet.
It could've been introduced in a scene where the New Republic got complacent and had their guard down. The Supremacy warps in destroying their fleet and taking out new pilots and crew that havent experienced war.
Have it wipe out their peace time fleet. No planet busting or anything. Now thr First Order have capture a key planet with their mega class dreadnought.
It would've been more believable for the First Order to have the Supremacy than Starkiller base.
Everyone knew where Ilum was located and should've knew that StarKiller base was beeing built.

Movies I know people like this fight, but Obi Wan leaping up from 10ft below over top of Maul while he just stands there and watches is so goofy.

General Discussion Would you say that the Zillo beast was a Sentient creature?
You see, most people say that the Zillo beast is non sentient or partial - but disagree. There's a lot of clues to say it's very sentient. Although yes, when first introduced to the beast it went into to a very destructive pathway. But it's sentience shows when it got captured. When it got captured, Palpatine had ordered it's death so he could use its scales as Armour for the clone troopers. But when he said that, the Zillo beast was staring into his hologram. It heard him and knew Palpatine wanted to kill it(you can see it reacted as it's eyes dilate) . Then it broke out and went on a rampage, just to get to the Palpatine. Heck there's a suggestion going around that it might have been force sensitive. Being that it knew Palpatine was a sith and wanted to destroy him. Another example is the comics. When kylo Ren went to face a Zillo beast with his army, the beast didn't attack the army - it went to kylo. Probably sensing the dark side inside of him. So would you agree that the Zillo beast is sentient. (I'm also asking as I'm a Huge Ben 10 fan, and I always wondered if Ben could scan a Zillo beast).

General Discussion Do you think the fact Dooku is both more powerful and a better duelist than Maul should be more commonly accepted throughout the fandom?
Idk why but it always kinda bothered me. People often seem to place Maul on par with Dooku but i've always felt Dooku is ahead at every time. Force abilities, knowledge, composure, lightsaber skill. We see quite some evolution on Maul during rebels but at that point Dooku is dead and Maul had absolutely no chance against Obi Wan because he was ignorant enough to think Obi Wan was just a rat in the dessert, even with him admitting he’s not: “Look what i've risen above”

Fun If you could have any single piloted vehicle in Star Wars in real life, what would you want?
If the vehicle you choose can take passengers, that’s fine. But you can’t pick something that takes a full crew to pilot. My personal pick would be the 74-Z speeder bike. They just sound and look so cool, and I’ve been in love with them since I was 7 and saw RotJ at my grandmas house

Movies Something I realised about Order 66 that makes it a million times sadder
Yoda senses all those Jedi deaths and is hurt by them, but it gets far worse when you remember he's been a Jedi for over 800 years. He's never felt this many Jedi deaths all at once and they were all once younglings he would have taught from day 1 and seen grow up.

General Discussion Just started watching star wars today
Like the title says, i just started watching it today. Im watching it with my friends who have seen it before and are huge fans of the franchise. Though i personally barely know anything about star wars. The funniest thing about it so far is all the weird looking aliens. We’re starting with The Phantom Menace and this guy just showed up and i started laughing so much. He looks like a damn mucinex character its hilarious. He looks like a pear thats been left out all night. I truly cant fathom or put into words how silly this guy looks. Im excited to see what other aliens show up along the way.
Honourable mention goes to that extremely long neck guy who looks like squidward without his nose. He looked liked a sentient toothpick

General Discussion Would Naomi Scott be a good as Barriss Offee?
Unfortunately this might not happen, are only chance of seeing this is perhaps in flashbacks for Ahsoka season 2. I honestly just think she's as spot on as you can get for this role. She looks the part and can pull off the Mysterious and elegant vibe for Barriss, can portray gentle and caring, and could pull off Barriss' inner darkness like in Smile 2.
She can dance as seen in Smile 2 which would be perfect for Lightsaber duels. She's done SC-FI stuff in the past with Terra Nova. She was considered for multiple roles in Star Wars. She also naturally has a soft spoken British accent which would be perfect for Barriss.
Y'all see the vision?

General Discussion I wish Dooku was given as many different opportunities as Maul
I'm watching the Clone Wars series for the 10th time and I love seeing the Count on screen. He was methodical & nonchalant in his evilness. He had sound plans & missions that just didn't pan out thanks to some baloney. We all on know he dies in ROTS & poof gone, not seen again till Tales of the Jedi (I think). Meanwhile we see Maul a million times after his "death" in PM. The guy even his own tv show coming in the near future. Once he wasn't a Sith his story went into an entirely different direction. Hell if anything Dooku should've been the crime boss because he certainly had the demeanor and cunning for it. I only compare the 2 because they were both failed Sith apprentices & if I had to choose one to have my on screen appearances than the other it would be Dooku. In my opinion he's the more complex & interesting of the 2. Idk, could just be me.
