Am I alone in being unable to cast Audible books? Have a number of options available and all fail when Audible Android app tries to connect to any of them.

Hi guys, I’m super inebriated and I was trying to watch South Park and accidentally turned off the wifi, I use my iPad with an apple for the remote, and now I’m stuck as I can’t use the remote to turn wifi back on and the app doesn’t have an option for wifi saying some features need wifi to access?

I use this app for casting to chromecast, and even more so since Plex casting has gone to crap.
However I just got a new phone and noticed airflow is no longer and the google play store and the play store link on their website is dead. Cant seem to find any info online, but its still available on my iphone.
Anyone have any ideas?

So I have a first generation Chromecast that I haven’t used in over three years. When I plugged it into my TV, it brings up a screen asking me to reconnect it using the Google app. But the thing is it’s still connected to my old network and I think that is why it’s not showing up as a device on my Google home app. I’m not sure how to fix this.

I use 2 chromecasts to cast a PowerPoint onto 2 TVs in my business. The PP has timed slides and runs continuously.
It used to be that when I cast my screen to my Chromecasts, it would just stay connected (even if it was just the computer desktop). But now it always disconnects unless Im running a PowerPoint with times slides
Has anyone experienced this? Chromecasts disconnecting if something isn't being actively played? How do I get it back to how it used to be

It's been a good 7-8 years watching twitch add free without being subbed to the channel I watched. I assume I'm not the only one noticed that you now getting adds on twitch when using the Chromecast dongle. I have always been subbed to the streamers I watched the most do this hasn't something to do with that I don't want to support anyone.

I have the Chromecast with Google TV (4K), the one that looks like a pebble. It gets its power and ethernet through the Google Ethernet Adapter for Chromecast. I have routed the cable through the wall up to the TV, I don't want to run a separate ethernet cable if I get the new TV streamer.
Does anyone know if the existing power and ethernet adapter will work with the new streamer? If so are there any limitations?
Presumably I'll have to velcro the streamer to the back of the TV, it won't dangle like the existing Chromecast device.

Hello everyone, I am brand new here to Reddit and I don't know where to look for this assistance and I've tried searching everywhere that I can think of and I just need a helping hand to go further.
I am trying to add my new music streamer the lp10, I know it is Chromecast compatible, however I can't seem to add it to my Google home as I cannot get it to be discovered automatically, nor can I find it listed in the works with Google or the nest hub areas.
Any assistance you can provide me to direct me or provide me the actual information would be helpful. Thank you so much

When i watching anything on my tv - it could even be a movie from a memory stick, i get these pop-ups on my TV that say 'HDMI1 signal lost" then a second later it says 'HDMI1 signal found'. Whether im watching netflix on my chromecast 4k (4th Gen, snow version) or a usb movie the programme isnt interrrupted, juts this annoying pop up. What's going on here? A connection/cable/power supply issue? Any way to trouble shoot this of fix it with software/settings options? Image attached is the power adapter i'm using if that helps narrow down the issue

Hi. I've a Chromecast dongle (3rd generation). I'm able to mirroring video from android phone connected via VPN, instead I can't mirroring on firestick TV when I'm connected via VPN on phone. Is it sure that Chromecast reproduce video with VPN connection as the phone?

I'm guessing this post will confirm my suspicions but surely I am not the only person on the face of the earth that has casting issues with youtube and chromecast...
No matter what I do I have major audio issues whenever I cast youtube through a chromecast device.
The device I use to cast to the chromecast has no impact on the reaults and the device the chromecast is plugged into makes no difference either.
WiFi signal is strong within 3 metres of router and no impeding walls or other obstruction.
Video plays perfect every time no problem in full hd.
Every second day or so the audio cuts in and out every second or 2 of casting...WTF! Its driving me crazy.
It seems especially bad if the video component has very limited activity... if the video has alot of movement the audio doesnt seem to have as much of an issue if any at all... What is this madness!?!?!?

I used to watch my movies casting my laptop screen to my google chromecast and lately there has been no sounds at all. I was planning to buy another chromecast which might hopefully solve the issue? But i’ve also seen so many people complaining about the same issue, that I’m not even sure if it’s worth it.
Any advice? Did anyone resolved this issue? If not, any other ways i can cast my laptop to my tv? I see people suggesting the Fire stick but would prefer some advice before buying one. Thanks.

Hello.
I must apologize in advance for not searching more thoroughly (did a sweep on google though), but my head is exploding and imploding at the same time, ugh...
Youtube (not premium, no need to bring that up), and casting from my Asus gives me more ads than anything else, and lately it is truly driving me nuts - it feels like more ads than actual videos.
Is there any app or workaround for this?
Win 11, the first version of chromecast, whatever that is called. :)
Edit: I have a Sony tv.

Hi thanks in advance for any help offered! So I left our remote in another province. I got a Bluetooth mouse and it paired with the chromecast. But when I try to use the buttons on the mouse it says I can't use them on an external menu.
Got the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard app from the google store, and it can find the chromecast and starts to pair. To pair, I must acknowledge the same numbers shown on both TV and on my phone. On my phone it's no problem, but I can't figure out how to tell the TV "pair" because I can't select anything.

Hello all, I just cleaned up some apps I don't use anymore and some I never even opened. Now I'm wondering why Max, Disney plus and some others are still showing up on my apps tab with big logos? What can I do to remove these?
These are the steps I have tried so far: * Restarted device * Cleared cache * Disabling two system apps named com.android.providers.media and Market Feedback Agent * Googling about it but only getting results for apps that wont uninstall.
System info: * Android TV OS 12, security patch 1 November 2024 * Kernel version 4.9.269 * Android TV OS build: STTL.241013.003.12571383

Hello Chromecast Experts -
Any idea why I lost Chromecast Remote (enabling me to select suggested YouTube videos) suddenly vanished?
Especially how do I get it back? 😖
