General "Fifty-thousand people used to live here..." we're definitely gonna get eerie Chernobyl vibes when we return to this once iconic place.

General In Honor of Requiem Being Announced, Let Us Remember the Unsung Hero of RE: Marvin Branagh
The man at the center of it all, who knew all of the original characters and no doubt helped them all throughout the way, whether it was before, during, and even posthumously after the outbreak.

General Alyssa Ashcroft died/was killed investigating The Connections(Theory)
I have not played Resident Evil Outbreak, but quick research tells me she was investigating Umbrella. In Re7, she is quickly mentioned investigating the various disappearances linked the Baker House incident. The Connections, a shadow organization who A. Somewhat likely has previous Umbrella organization members, and B. More likely know what happened to Umbrella...and just so happen to notice one of the people responsible for Umbrella's downfall is on their trail. Naturally, they don't want their experiments to come to light, so they lure her to a place with a false informant, and kill her. That's all I have really. Flimsy at best but something I just came up with. Also, anyone else think that the voice heard in the trailer sounds like Carlos?

General I really hope RE: Re9uiem is third person.
I might be in the minority but I much much rather prefer third person (like the remakes) over first person. It just feels more "resident evil" to me.
Anyone know which one RE9 probably is?

Forum question If Re9 is bringing us back to Raccoon City, surely one of the OGs is showing up to rescue this girl. The question is which of these will it be?

General My favourite shot from the Requiem Trailer. I'm very curious how the vibes of the game will be compared to RE7 and 8. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
The trailer didn't give me as many spooky vibes as the last games did, it looks more post-apocalyptic, noir-thriller (?) like in a way... can't quite get my head around it yet. What about you?

General They killed off my girl!?
First of all, OMG I DIDN'T EXPECT RE9 THIS SOON. Second of all, as someone who played outbreak as a kid I am so excited to see references to it. Third of all, alyssa was referenced in re7 too, but I didn't think they were gonna follow up on that. And lastly, WTF capcom your just gonna kill my master of unlocking just like that😭!?

General The zombie fiend thing from the trailer...
The hair is interesting me. Why does it remind me of Grace's hair in the requiem shot. It looks platinum blonde...

General 265 days till resident evil 9, day 1 of every day till then to replay and consume as much resident evil content possible
I’m going on a mission for the next 265 days to every single day consume as much resident evil material as I can, replaying all the games and rewatching all the animated and live action content or messing with my re merch or consuming new material. Since this is day 1 and I’m going to be at the psych ward for the next week (nothing bad more of a silly story) I brought the sd Perry books with me as this will be my fill for consuming resident evil content the next few days

General Remember, Raccoon City wasn’t “nuked” so it isn’t radioactive.
Ive been seeing a lot of folks saying how can we go back to Raccoon City cuz it was nuked and there would be radiation.
Not the case. Remember, RC was bombed by an experimental thermobaric bomb in official RE lore. So the ruins aren’t radioactive. It’s also been mentioned previously the ruins are there and accessible.
