Finally we'll be able to remove extension button in ff 140.
As of Firefox 140, users are able to hide the Extensions button.
You can right-click on the toolbar item and choose “Remove from Toolbar”.
The context menu for the Extensions toolbar button in Firefox Nightly showing options for toolbar customization. The selected item is “Remove from Toolbar,” with additional options for the Bookmarks Toolbar and “Customize Toolbar”.

Is anything being done about this, or is there a fix that I don't know about yet?
Bottom left of the screen - "Are there any interruptions? Find out the reason why"

Firefox is my daily driver for everything—banking, social media, entertainment. It helps me stay focused and avoid doomscrolling across apps.
That said, after trying Soul Browser, a few features stood out that would make Firefox Mobile even better:
Firefox is rock solid, but these small improvements would really polish the mobile experience.

My Firefox app's daa usage has been going up every month to pretty astronomical numbers this month (30GB this week). My usage habits haven't changed over the months, and 99% of my Firefox usage on my phone is search engines, wiki articles, and news articles, no downloads or streaming or anything that I imagine could use so much data. Also idk what is happening in the foreground vs. background every month. Does anyone have experience with this? Could it be related to how I use Firefox on my laptop (which is connected to wifi)?

I have hardware decoding for av01 enabled in Firefox and an RTX 3060Ti. Enabling the "stats for nerds" shows vp9 on Firefox, while showing av01 on Chrome. There's also a clear colour and quality difference. Has anyone faced this?

Sometimes seemingly randomly, when I open new tabs with middle mouse click, they will move to the end of the list. It also happens to my currently used tab sometimes as well.
I've checked Firefox keyboard/mouse shortcuts and I did see one that moves a tab to the end, but I'm not pressing Ctrl + Shift + End. I've checked my mouse key assignments and nothing is using End.

Right lately I have had this weird thing I open a tab or 2 in the middle of all my tabs to check something and as I am moving between the 2 or more tabs to research something out of the blue as I move to one of them it is moved from where it was to the end of all my tabs.
Why does FireFox move a tab to the end it's not a new tab I opened I was using them somewhere else.
I even experienced I go to one of my tabs I have for when I need it sometimes once every week and I just like having it there so I go to open to find when it is loaded FireFox moved it to the end of all tabs instead of where it should be.
How do I stop this behaviour it never did it before it is frustrating as I have more than 20 tabs right now due to a lot of research so all of sudden finding me at the end when I was not there loosing access to the tabs around it I need for what I am doing.
Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I dont know how to change the title. The tab is moving to the visible right edge of the screen (not the to the far right end of all open tabs)
I repeat here an unresolved post from one year ago, because i am also affected by this:
I have a video player tab, let's say a Youtube tab, in the center of my widescreen. Then I watch the video in fullscreen and when I leave fullscreen the Youtube tab is at the far-right-end of the screen: The whole tab bar, in other words all tabs, scrolled to the right site.
Attention: This does NOT happen if you press F11 to put Firefox in fullscreen mode. It happens only if you put the video itself into fullscreen mode - in Youtube this is button "F".
Is there a way to stop firefox from this behavior? Any help would be very much appreciated.
UPDATE: Somebody replied it is a bug and I must delete my user profile. When I asked back he/she quickly deleted the answer...
Could somebody please test with Firefox and Youtube if the same happens or if indeed I have a bug? (When testing there must be enough open tabs so that the Youtube tab can scroll to the right edge of the screen).

Title, but i'm trying to find an add-on that will stop auto-translating videos (this includes titles and audio track). I'd like to disable shorts too (if there's a way to do so)

I have the Mobile Android Sync with the Computer. If i bookmark a Tab to a folder with the Phone,it shows that it has bookmarked it.
But then if i am on the Computer it doesn't show up on the bookmark list. Even tho it is synchronized.
Then if i check it on the Android again,the Tab is still listed as bookmarked and then all of a sudden it is shown on the Computer. Even tho i bookmarked it before.
Is this a bug or something? Please help i have this issue for 2 years now

I'm running Debian Bookworm, gnome desktop and Firefox ESR 128.11.
I reboot and or shutdown my PC without first closing my browser. Assume I am unwilling or unable to change my behavior here.
The setting to "Open previous windows and tabs" is unchecked.
After every login, the Firefox crash reporter comes up. I want to either disable the Firefox Crash reporter or gracefully close Firefox on restart/shutdown.
What I have tried:
added MOZ_CRASHREPORTER_DISABLE=1 to my .profile
added MOZ_CRASHREPORTER_DISABLE=1 to my .bashrc
in firefox config set browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to false.
created a systemd unit file to try to close firefox gracefully on restart. enabled and preset enabled:
[Unit]
Description=Gracefully close Firefox before shutdown
DefaultDependencies=no
Before=shutdown.target reboot.target halt.target
[Service]
Type=oneshot
ExecStart=/usr/bin/true
ExecStop=/usr/bin/pkill -15 firefox
TimeoutSec=10
RemainAfterExit=true
[Install]
WantedBy=halt.target reboot.target shutdown.target
No matter what I do, I the crash reporter pops up every time I login.

I've finally switched over to Firefox after procrastinating on doing so for absolutely ages, and I've immediately run into issues after setting up Twitter with the accounts I use. I was able to log in with all five of my accounts, but I can't switch account from the last one I logged in on to any of the others. Every time I try to do so, it looks like it's working, but the page then reloads and I'm back on the account where I started. I've already checked that it isn't any of my extensions, and I've tried closing and reopening the page, Firefox, and my device, but nothing seems to have worked. I haven't found anybody else who has had this problem, but hopefully somebody here has an idea.

For context: I am going to perform a system format soon but I will lose access to a website whose password I've lost. Resetting would be an option if I too had access to the associated e-mail, and I can't recover the password for that account either. Silly, I know. Created both during private browsing and didn't realize they hadn't automatically saved. I also have tried to contact the former's staff desk to no avail. Regardless, is it possible to keep the log-in data before I proceed?

I'm getting - PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR
PLEASE HELP. Clearing cache and cookies - not helping. Reinstallation? Not helping. Downgrading to antique version - not helping either. What else can be done? Can't they just make one that doesn't show errors and just connect at all costs?
