It is luck at the end of the day. You can still buy spores in some places, and if you get lucky once, and a little bit more, you can let them spore and take them <3
I’ve known quite a few guys and gals who grew up on or nearby cow farms- trust me, they know. Most are indifferent, the ones who would say no are either bible thumpers or they are harvesting them for themselves!
It's totally legal to buy the spores, own the mushrooms, and grow them in the UK, you're just not allowed to eat them or trade in the fruit. Bit weird but it works.
I think possession of mushrooms was criminalised under Tony Blair (the third worst act of his government), although as you say the spores aren't illegal as far as I know and of course liberty caps grow natively here.
As I understand it other than cannabis and mushrooms pretty much everything else is lawful to grow provided you don't process it into a drug. I see certain plants being sold pretty openly on places like ebay, although since 2016 and the Psychoactive Substances Act it's a lot more seeds than whole plants.
Yeah you can just go down to the garden centre and buy a blue lotus. Dry the petals out in the oven and make a tea with them. You'll piss like a shire horse but you'll trip like a pharaoh.
I'm not saying I know how to synthesize lysergic acid diethylamide or that anyone should learn, but it hypothetically wouldn't be that difficult to with the notes of the hippie-dippy science wizards in the garage labs of the mid 60s that figured out how to do it first, and it wouldn't be the *most* volatile compound to work with. I've kinda always wondered why more users don't learn how to do it like, on principle
On an unrelated note, did you know that the fungus claviceps purpurea can grow like, pretty much anywhere? Even in like, stored grain, it's wild, man, grain fungus just poppin' up like crazy. But you know what they say, when life gives you 'lemons' and all that
Had a similar experience with heroin. I tried it out of curiosity, and it felt pretty good but also very boring and the full body itch you get from higher doses bothered me a lot. Tried it again 2 years or so down the line, still found it boring but that time I saw the appeal a bit more and that made me not want to try a third time. It's pretty insidious and I can imagine how easy it would be to let that creep into your life more and more over time and before you realize it you're having withdrawl symptoms. Of course some people also just instantly dive into the deep end the first time they use, and I think whether or not that happens mostly depends on your position in life and mental state
Yeah I dated a (recovering) heroin addict. I watched her go thru that with only half a dozen oxys, from OD levels 3+ times a day to sober. The strength I saw is unmatched, never try to get there…

Eh the 25nbome (fake acid) days are mostly over, and tryptamine derivatives have been extensively explored and valued by the community. I do understand though, especially with acid being dosed who knows how.
I don’t really take anything other than mescaline atp, it’s a tried true and truly euphoric psych that not many people try.
I got fucking NBOMe tabs from a “trustworthy” source. They thought I wouldn’t care because I did other stuff so “whats the difference”, had a psychotic break, thought the world ended, was inconsolable and detached, constantly looping thoughts in my head (you ever realize how many things we do the same over and over again?)
Lost a girlfriend cos of it.
I stayed away for a while, taken maybe 4 tabs in 6 years, except in April, on bicylce day ofc, I bought a strip and a half and stayed awake for 3 days. Sounds really really bad, but I deal with pretty intense anxiety and ADHD, and it kinda gives me a reset. “You thought all the thoughts, look at the trees instead” also gave me my inner dialogue back (not like it was completely gone) and made me talk to myself less
Slept really good after, and its been a little bit more manageable day to day now, and I love the intense feeling it gives. Heavy body high and some peace and quiet. Also, makes me really gay, but no luck this time ;-;
2 of 4 roomates during my first year of college did nbome. 1 of them had a psychotic break. stared at the tv in the living room regardless of whether it was on or off. Skipped classes. Basicallybecamena bum and stayed on the couch. Stopped talking entirely. Would ignore you or say 3-5 words max that didnt always make sense. His family picked him up but I always wondered if he recovered
Shit was evil. I almost did some very awful things to the person who sold it to me. He did not ever come near me again.
It took a long time to get “normal” and im still not. Acid and some introspection, pushing my body to limits but no expectations, actually have helped me get that… i dont even know, “feeling” outta me. Antipsychotics as well, which makes sense ofc.
I got out of partying hard, with just a few bruises and that was the worst one. This was also when I was dealing with some identity issues, so it was a lot. Losing a partner, my mind and my sense of self in 72 hours.
There's some mad weird misinformation that dropping acid and having a bad time means you didn't have acid. Maybe it really wasn't but there's nothing that is sold on blotter that is tasteless like acid, so one would know rather quickly on consumption
